La Casa Clu is a civil association and recreation and learning center where the children from San Ignacio, Nayarit a rural small town in the Bahía de Banderas area can be and feel free to express their feelings. It is a place to play, create, teach, learn, share, laugh and grow.

Our team of psychologists, teachers, artists, athletes, professionals and volunteers has built a program of art and sports classes and workshops, field trips and games to create new opportunities and a better future for the kids of this community.

We seek to change their present so they can have a better future.

We don’t accept punishment as a disciplinary method. We want to cut the chain of violence, aggression and frustration by implementing the reward system called “Token Economy.”

A key element to our work is emotional support.

What Do We Do?

We help kids be kids.

We offer therapy sessions, workshops, games and other activities to the kids of this community.

We are open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• “En cuentos te encuentro” - Reading and creativity
• Movie time
• Yoga
• “Girls and boys club”. Group therapy for teenagers divided by gender in which important topics are discussed in a group environment.
