Greenpeace arrived in Mexico with the dream of building a greener and more peaceful world.
Greenpeace began its work in Mexico in 1993. We are a people's organization that seeks to influence public policy, involve and inspire change, and through which volunteers, members, activists and cyberactivists constantly travel.
In order to care for our planet, we carry out non-violent direct actions and peaceful civil resistance, with which we denounce environmental crimes and those who commit them, raise awareness, inform and inspire citizens to participate in the search for solutions.
You Have the Power
This is where you come in. If you also want a greener and fairer world, we will march by your side. If you have ideas on how to achieve this, we want to learn from you. Because in this world there are many people who dream, plan and act together.
Change the World
Imagine a world where forests flourish and oceans teem with life. Where the energy is as clean as a mountain stream. Where everyone has safety, dignity and joy. We cannot build this future among a few people, but we can build it with you.
To take care of our planet, we carry out non-violent direct actions and peaceful civil resistance, with which we denounce environmental crimes and those who commit them, we generate awareness, inform and inspire citizens to participate in the search for solutions.
We want to live on a healthy, peaceful planet. A planet where forests flourish, oceans are full of life and where once-threatened animals safely roam.
Where our quality of life is measured in relationships, not things. Where our food is delicious, nutritious, and grown with love. Where the air we breathe is fresh and clear. Where our energy is as clean as a mountain stream. Where everyone has the security, dignity and joy we all deserve.
It’s all possible. We can’t make it happen alone, but have no doubt: We can do it together.
Greenpeace uses non-violent creative action to pave the way towards a greener, more peaceful world, and to confront the systems that threaten our environment. See what we stand for
