Global Health Voyager, Inc. (OTCBB: GLHV), a publicly-traded, full-service, international medical tourism company, today announced that AMERIMED Hospitals, spanning key tourist destinations in Mexico including Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, and San José del Cabo, are now part of the Global Health Voyager network.

AMERIMED Hospitals offer a network of specialists that include internal medicine, surgery, neurosurgery, cardiology, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, and anesthesiology, among others.

"AMERIMED's state-of-the-art technology and its commitment to delivering high quality medical care matches that of the best hospitals in the United States, but at far more cost-efficient rates," says Ali Moussavi, president and CEO of Global Health Voyager, noting that AMERIMED facilities feature a Cath Lab, the only unit in Baja, that will diagnose and treat most cardiac and vascular emergencies.

With facilities in some of the most sought-after tourist destinations in Mexico, the AMERIMED hospitals are staffed by experienced board-certified physicians, many of whom have been trained in the U.S. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Mexican government is expecting the number of medical tourism patients to reach 650,000 annually by 2020.

"AMERIMED offers world-class healthcare, a wide range of services, and the expertise of experienced medical professionals who utilize progressive technology," adds Moussavi. "Patients can expect to receive personalized attention from a bi-lingual staff in state-of-the art facilities that are spacious, beautifully appointed, and well-equipped."

Moussavi also notes that patients and their travel companions can take advantage of luxurious accommodations for recuperation, as well as attractive opportunities for sightseeing, water sports, fishing and relaxation.

"Mexico is a short plane ride from most cities in the United States, offering convenience and ease of travel - key considerations for those traveling outside the country for medical care," he says.
