El Arrayán, everyone’s favorite Mexican Restaurant in Banderas Bay, announces their Mexican Cooking classes for the fall season 2012.

Once again, they will be sharing a few of their secrets during a series of upcoming cooking classes.

Scheduled for Mondays, a limited number of participants will join El Arrayán’s team for a traditional Mexican breakfast, visiting local purveyors, hands-on cooking instructions in their all-stainless steel professional kitchen and then enjoying what they have cooked for lunch.

The dates for these great experience classes are as follows:

Monday, October 15
Monday, October 29
Monday, November 5
Monday, November 19
Monday, December 3

The fee for this professional introduction to Mexican cooking techniques and ingredients is $95 - $110 USD (depending on the menu) per-person. This fee also includes transportation (restaurant, breakfast, market and return) breakfast, instruction, take-home printed recipes, an embroidered apron and lunch, one cocktail or Mexican house wine.

Class is conducted in English and will only take place with a minimum of 5 people.

El Arrayán’s cooking classes have become a popular activity for visitors and locals alike, anybody that is interested in learning Mexican cooking techniques from a professional chef. Whether you are a novice or a professional cook, join us for an upcoming cooking class and bring a little of El Arrayán’s award-winning food to your home-cooked meals.

Now, on Monday December 17, for the first time, Carmen will be taking a group to the mountain village of El Tuito to visit some local small food producers while working on their unique artisan products. The price is $85 USD per person. This fee also includes transportation (El Arrayan, El Tuito, producers, lunch & back.)

El Arrayán is located in Downtown Puerto Vallarta at 344 Allende, just a short stroll from the Malecón. Open Wednesday  – Monday, 5:30 to 11:00 pm. Closed on Tuesdays. Live music on Saturdays.
