RISE Readies Seven Talent Shows for Early 2022 Fundraising Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza

We wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year as we close out 2021 and we send a big note of thanks for helping us get through a very difficult year. Now, let's get ready for 2022...

December Golf Tournament – Thanks to the 112 golfers that came out to support RISE at Flamingos for the Winter Golf Tourney. We raised $3,800 USD and a gained many new ‘Friends’ of RISE. A special thanks to Barbara Angulo for creating the had painted trophies. Thanks Al, Joanne, Brad, Joneen and Tami for supporting the event and to Billy for making the event a fun adventure at every hole.



2021 Fundraising - In 2021, we had very limited fundraising ability due to COVID, but we are grateful for the opportunities and participation we had with an online cooking show, Off the Menu, 2 Golf Tournaments and our Sponsor-a-Child (SpARC) program. These events raised approximately $20,450 USD. We’ve been fortunate to have great response to our outreaches for support along the way – we’ve even recruited a diaper angel, Shirley Barca.

A special shout our to our GEMs (Give Every Month) supporters who donate monthly outside of the SpARC program– we couldn’t have made it through the year without you!

So, you may ask – how much money does it cost to provide education and a safe, loving home to 30+ children? RISE has annual operational costs of $140,000 USD per year. This includes, utilities, employee compensation for ~30 staff members, education, groceries, gasoline and maintenance and repair on 2 vehicles and a 20-year-old building. 2022 Fundraising – As you’ve seen, So, You Think You Can RISE is this year’s fundraiser and it a series of 7 Talent Shows. These shows are modeled after America’s Got Talent, complete with 6 Preliminary Rounds and 1 Grand Finale. We have 40 contestants AND only 6 will make it to the Grand Finale. Your Vote will make a difference on the next PV Superstar. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $600,000 pesos. I know we can do it with your support. Buy your tickets NOW

Our first show is in 10 days, you won’t want to miss it. Round 1 has a great variety of talent - We've got singers, young and old(er), a hip hop dance group, a magician, and special guest.
