Jungle Group Field Trip
We are thrilled that the twenty students in our Jungle Group program were able to go on their first educational outdoor field trip in over a year! The Jungle Group is a program for elementary school children who learn best with hands-on, outside the classroom experiences.

This past month the group visited the Grupo Ecologico de la Costa Verde here in San Pancho where they learned how turtles lay their eggs and the importance of keeping our beaches clean for the conservation of this endangered species. Click here to check them out at The Turtle Project. THANK YOU to the Turtle Conservation Project for this unforgettable experience for the youth of San Pancho.
Holiday Party for the Town
Mark your calendars! Next Tuesday, December 21, from 2:00pm – 4:00pm, we will have a Holiday Afternoon at Entreamigos. In lieu of our traditional Holiday Party, and in an effort to avoid gathering a large group of people in a small space, this year we will have an entire afternoon of holiday fun utilizing all of Entreamigos’ open spaces.
This means 6 fun-filled centers like ornament making, mini-piñatas, write your letter of a wish to the world, design your own holiday card, cookie decorating and more!! Plus, we’ll have a special visitor from the north pole handing out candy to all the children. It’s a holiday celebration not to be missed. See you there!

Getting Close to Our Food Basket Goal
This Christmas Eve morning, Entreamigos hopes to deliver 150 food baskets to San Pancho families in need. Thanks to your support we are half way to our goal!

A food basket include a whole chicken, a reusable bag filled with fruits and veggies, presents for the children and all the dry goods they need for the holiday. Please consider supporting a local family by clicking on the button below and donating a holiday basket this year.

First Round of Circular Plastic Credits
This month we have the pleasure of reaching a huge accomplishment with our recycling program - hading out the circular plastic credits to the waste collectors. Since February 2021, Entreamigos has been creating a network of plastic collection points in four towns in Nayarit (San Pancho, Sayulita, Lo de Marcos, and Las Varas) with the objective of creating safer working conditions and and a system of best practices for the collectors in the area.

Together with BVRio the initiative was started to create incentive based payments (called circular plastic credits) for taking plastic out of our environment and designating it to recycling and upcycling centers. Now, after 8 months of hard work, we were able to hand out safety boots, T-shirts and the plastic credit stipends to 121 waste collectors from these four organizations who together collected 107 tons of plastic waste. Congratulations and thank you to all of the people involved in this incredible project, especially Alessa, Abraham, Virginia and Eleno!
First Artist Corner of the Season
We has such a great time opening out doors for the first Artist Corner of the season. Our Artist Corner program was an initiative started by Tanya Sugarman with the purpose of recognizing and promoting local artists that inspire us to continue being a creative community.

At this Artist Corner we featured Wendy Jones, a textile artist, and Laura Sion with macrame jewelry. There was a beautiful catwalk modeling the art, tapas and live music. THANK YOU Laura and Wendy for sharing your art with us, and thank you to everyone who attended and supported this creative community space.
If you weren't able to make the event, Laura and Wendy's pieces will be on sale all month at our Gallery, so come check them out!
English Books at Entramigos
Do you know how to borrow English books from the library at Entreamigos? It’s easy!

We have a great selection of fiction and non-fiction books in English. And there is a small selection of books in French and German for adults too.
Here's how you do it...
• Bring the books you’d like to borrow to the front desk and ask for the library card box
• Write your name on a card, the titles of the books and the date
• Put the card in the section for the first letter of your last name
• When you are ready to return the books, please leave them at the front desk and cross them off your card
Do you know we also have books for sale in the Galeria at Entreamigos?
Yes! Gently read fiction and non-fiction books are available to purchase by donation in the Galeria. Sale books are yours to keep or give to friends. Please don’t return them to Entreamigos. Be sure to visit the sale table often for new titles.
A special thanks to Judith Anderson for donating Jesse Hendry’s books in his memory, to the Entreamigos Library.
HAPPY READING!
