Tickets for the 2022 Puerto Vallarta Chili Cook-Off are now available online. Tickets will not be available at our usual on-sale locations in Puerto Vallarta until early December.

10th Annual! Can you believe it? The 10th Annual Puerto Vallarta Chili Cook-Off will be held on February 19, 2022, at Puerto Mágico.

If you've got a sure-fire-winning chili recipe or if you've ever referred to that pot of beans you make as "My Famous Chili", then read the on and learn how to enter the competition - and individuals are welcomed. You don't have to be a bar or restaurant to enter your chili.

Tickets Available Online

This year, in addition to the General Admission tickets, we've added three packages to choose from to enhance your Cook-Off experience. All three levels feature Reserved, Covered Seating in various locations on the event grounds. If you'd like to sit in the enlarged Beer Gardens and have table service, then perhaps the Gold Club ticket is for you. The VIP Club features seating in the area known as Stage Front and you'll find covered seating in the entranceway to Puerto Mágico in the Colonnade Club.

Once you are in our Ticket Gateway, clicking on each ticket variety will open a page with that ticket's "Extra Benefits." These benefits include early-early entrance, a souvenir Cook-Off T-Shirt, a souvenir 16 oz Cook-Off beer glass, among others. At the bottom of that page, you'll see a "Buy Now" button. Clicking on this will open a seating plan where you may choose from the seats still available.



This is the latest version of our floor plan. Notice the three areas for enhanced seating: The Beer Gardens, Stage Front, and The Colonnade.

We will try to provide as much free, shaded seating as well (see the area behind the Main Stage marked as the Chili Pavilion). This area features 112 unreserved seats for General Admission ticket holders.

10th Annual Puerto Vallarta Chili Cook-Off February 19, 2022 • Puerto Magico

The PV Chili Cook-Off Committee has decided to move the 2022 event to Puerto Mágico, where our host, Dean Regehr, is determined to eliminate as much of the costly overhead as possible ensuring more revenue for the Jay Sadler Project A.C. to inject into the community over the following year.

As the world starts to get back to normal we see a huge wave of enthusiasm for the next Chili Cook-Off. The biggest change that the new facility allows will be over 300 hundred seats in the shade that you may reserve during the ticket purchasing process. There will also be an adjacent multi-level parking structure if you want to drive to the event.

We're Looking for a Few Good Chili Chefs

There's no entry fee to enter your chili, but you do have to make a lot of it - 5 gallons, at a minimum (we want your chili to last the day). In return, you're going to get your own 10' x 10' space (canopy, table, chairs) and a chance to wow the hundreds of attendees as well as our panel of professional judges. Space is at a premium with only 9 open spots remaining.

Support Us Year-round at The Puerto Vallarta Chili Cook-Off Store

Our store was created to provide an income source for the Jay Sadler Project (JSP) in the months between our fund-raising events. The profit portion of every purchase goes to the JSP to help us continue our efforts to serve the under-served communities of the greater Puerto Vallarta area.
