This weekend there will be display of vintage cars and artistic expressions in Tepic, Nayarit.

The event is organized by the Municipal Institute of Youth and the cultural activities will be conducted in the Park Juan Escutia on September 29 and 30 from 2:00 in the afternoon.

The use of public spaces for a good cause has been of great importance since it contributes to the prevention of youth crime, therefore, the Municipal President, Hector Gonzalez Curiel, continues to implement the healthy enjoyment of local youth activities.

Thanks to the work with Governor Roberto Sandoval, space has been reserved for the expression of artistic and cultural skills of the young citizens.

The XXXIX Tepic City Council, through the Municipal Youth Institute, has prepared a series of cultural activities for all young people, where you can enjoy an exhibition of approximately 200 vintage cars, as well as artistic expressions such as dance, karaoke, break dance, graffiti, music bands, and other activities that the young people will provide for the enjoyment of the general public.

The Director of the Institute of the Youth of the municipality, Isaura García Nares, explained: "On Saturday, September  29 at 2:00 in the afternoon, there will be the inaugural event for Vintage Cars 2012 where approximately 200 cars will be displayed. Registration is free and we invite all young people to exhibit their classic cars, restored or not."

The concern of engineer Héctor González Curiel of the Municipal Youth Institute is to publicize these spaces of expression and give priority to all young people. "We invite our youth to join in these activities for the benefit of them in displaying their artistic and cultural expressions."

The event will be conducted on Saturday and Sunday, September 29 and 30, in the Park Juan Escutia from 2:00 in the afternoon and until 7:00 at night.

It should be noted that these events have targeted rescue public spaces of expression for all the youth of Tepic, with the intention of motivating them in art and culture in its different modalities. Because Tepic is in our hands, we continue working together with one hundred percent of our youth.
