Since its inception as a small ensemble the PVCO has grown to be a full-sized orchestra, being the only community orchestra in the Bay Area.

Directed by Daniel Oliveros, the PVCO is a multicultural, cross-generational group that houses local and international musicians with over 40 artists from +10 countries all joining their talent to produce the highest level of formal music in Puerto Vallarta.

For the Spring Concerts 2020, the Institute of Musical Arts will present two concerts with guest artist Gustavo Ramos (Percussionist) as a benefit for local youth music education.

Among other pieces, we will be performing Debussy's BOLERO!

IAMPV Institute of Musical Arts Puerto Vallarta is a non-profit educational center with the purpose of enriching the lives of all the inhabitants of Bahía de Banderas and Mexico. The benefits of music education have been well studied and documented, giving young people tools to succeed not only in the music field but in the school and social spheres. We believe that anyone has the right to participate and for this reason we offer opportunities to present and education to students of all ages through various training programs.

On Sunday, March 22, join us at the American School in Marina Vallarta, Albatros 129, at 7:00 pm.

On Monday, March 23, the venue will be the Salon Paraiso in Nuevo Vallarta, Paseo de los Cocoteros 67 (across from the Hard Rock Hotel), which will also begin at 7:00 pm.
