The Association de la Plástica de Garza García A.C. was founded in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, 26 years ago and currently comprises more than 70 artists, some of whom are being presented at the Naval Museum exhibition which will run until August 31.
During the exhibition of Abrazando a lo Desconocido (Embracing the Unknown), more than 30 artworks of 15 artists from Monterrey will be exhibited in the Naval Historical Museum of Puerto Vallarta.
This is the first exhibition of this group held Puerto Vallarta and Rene Morales, President of the Association, commented that this location was selected for its global significance, its culture and for the recognition of its galleries internationally.
"In this exhibition, the public will find the versatility of artists in the graphic arts, which embraces the unknown, and will be an unforgettable experience," commented architect René Morales.
The Museo Naval (Navy Museum) is open Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm. Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 3:00 to 7:30 pm.
Puerto Vallarta Naval Museum is located downtown at the south end of the Malecon by the ocean and Los Arcos.
