The Art and Culture Board of Puerto Vallarta and Eureka Productions invite the general public to a film acting workshop by Mexican actor Mario Zaragoza.
 
The film "Desierto Adentro" is a Mexican film directed by Rodrigo Plan and stars Diego Catano, Guillermo Dorantes, Katia Xanat Espino, Luis Fernando Peña, Eileen Yanez and Mario Zaragoza. It is a drama set during the Cristero War which occurred in Mexico between 1926 and 1929.

The film is about Elijah (played by Mario Zaragoza), a poor ignorant peasant who lives with his family in Mexico during the Cristero War and unwittingly becomes involved in the conflict, resulting in the deaths of many people.  Overwhelmed by guilt, he retreats with his family into the wilderness become a religious fanatic.

This film was screened at the Cuale Cultural Center Auditorium on August 9.

In follow-up to the successful screening, Mario Zaragoza will teach a workshop entitled "Film Acting" with the aim of supporting the artistic training of talents in Puerto Vallarta with a course divided into two four-hour sessions.
