Two sculptures by Vallarta's renowned artist Octavio Gonzalez will be unveiled in Marina Vallarta at a date to yet be confirmed.
The artwork is a donation by businessman Juan Vela of Hotel Velas Vallarta, who actively participates in all events organized by the Cultural Committee from the Vallarta Marina Owners Association.
Elizabeth de Jaramillo and Ana Cecilia de Neyra will be helping to plan the unveiling event and are very pleased to have Juan Vela as a sponsor of the project to better Marina Vallarta.
Artist Octavio Gonzalez is well-known for the quality of his sculptures and will donate other pieces. Elizabeth de Jaramillo reported that the unveiling of the sculptures will be planned around other important events in Marina Vallarta and mentioned that on Friday, November 30, 2012, the art festival season on the Vallarta Marina Malecon will begin.
The Vallarta Marina Homeowners Association is run by Gabriel Clavel, Marco Antonio Neyra and Victor Manuel Jaramillo, who actively meet to promote the Vallarta Marina as a great tourist attraction for visitors and residents of Puerto Vallarta.
