The first Vidanta Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament is your chance to golf with a celebrity partner on the beautiful Norman Signature Golf Course and the stunning Nicklaus Design Golf Course, both at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta from October 13-15, 2016.

You'll enjoy daily rounds, private parties and activities, prizes, a spa treatment for your spouse or guest, and all the amenities and activities at the magnificent Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta.

Players at the Vidanta Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament will be paired with celebrity partners that include current and former players from the NFL, MLB, and NBA.

Also attending the tournament will be a few PGA Tour Professionals, including Ken Duke, Steve Wheatcroft, Greg Owen, and Jerry Kelley. They'll be offering tips, giving clinics, issuing challenges, and joining the festivities.

Meet your Celebrity Partners

General Information and Schedule

Your entry fee $1,499 per player includes practice round, two tournament rounds with celebrity partner, breakfast, welcome gifts, cocktail party, awards dinner, and spa day for any non-playing spouse or guest. Entry fee does not include cost of accommodations.

$50,000 in cash and prizes includes first, second, and third place; closest to pin; all par 3s (daily); and longest drive (daily).

Format is a four-person scramble. Everyone tees off, and then you continue to play the best shot until the ball is holed.

Registration and practice round will be 7:00 until 9:00 am on October 13 with the Welcome Cocktail Party at 6:00 until 9:00 pm.

On October 14 and 15, breakfast will be served from 7:00 until 8:00 am with the shotgun start at 9:00 am. Lunch will follow the round on October 14 and the Dinner and Awards Ceremony will be on April 15 at 7:00 pm.

Course Information

The Vidanta Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament will be played on the Nicklaus Design Golf Course at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta and the new Norman Signature Golf Course at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta. Designed by two legends of the game, both courses feature stunning views of the Sierra Madre Mountains, the Ameca River, and the lush vegetation of the tropical jungle. Players enjoy full caddie service, a pro shop, clubhouse with 19th hole restaurant and bar, and the use of a lighted practice range.

Nicklaus Design Golf Course

Surrounded by lush jungle and the Sierra Madre Mountains on one side and the Vidanta Resort on the other, this course is a natural and technical masterpiece by the Nicklaus Design group. Champion Bermuda greens allow for speed approaching tour standards.

Norman Signature Golf Course

The exciting layout winds along the banks of the Ameca River offering views of the Sierra Madres from every hole and an exciting trip across the world’s longest golf cart suspension bridge. Wall to wall paspalum turf provides immaculate conditions year round.

Spa Gift
