Long Time Resident of Puerto Vallarta in Need of Medical Funds Tom Atkachunas - PVAngels

My name is Tom Atkachunas, 72 years old, retired in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

I am raising money for my second hip replacement surgery that was supposed to have been taken care of by now but an infection was found at the time of surgery last month and so the time, treatment and costs are now increasing to be able to take care of it this coming November.

I was doing fine with the first hip replacement but I had an accident, dislocated my right shoulder and my first hip prosthesis got loose and had to be replaced.

My overall health is great otherwise, no conditions or health complications, thankfully, and with your help I will have enough to do it, including doctors, hospital, treatments, laboratories, prosthesis, bone grafts, and all expenses, so l don't have to run a risk to wait in bed until next year to be able to do it.

I would need to get the funds collected by the end of October, this is of great help, I am glad for the people who already have reached out to me and for the idea to go this route as well.

I am being diligent and staying positive and very cautious as to not hurt myself while I wait, following treatment, therapies and directions to be ready for November and l will be forever grateful to all of you who could contribute and a big thanks from the bottom of my heart, every penny counts.

Update: Thank you so very much for your help and l want to let you all know that we are still aiming for November for the surgery, and everything is going fine and l am on the last of the antibiotics, l truly appreciate your generosity and encouragement, l am forever grateful.
