Puerto Vallarta is pleased to invite locals and tourists from Mexico and around the world, to celebrate Independence Day in our village by the sea, where national pride and love for traditions will meet in a series of shows full of life and color.
As of September 12, the celebration begins with various civic ceremonies, shows accompanied by mariachis, folkloric ballet and pre-Hispanic dances.
The highlight comes with the fireworks of the Grito de Independencia. However, the events continue throughout the month with several festivals and cultural and gastronomic samples.
