“Blessed are those who toast and celebrate with a drink that was grown and produced in their own land!” shares Chef Thierry Blouet, reflecting on how fortunate those countries are that produce beverages of high quality with distinctive character, as is the case of Mexico with its tequila, mezcal and wine.

September is a special time of the year to celebrate Mexico, which is why Chef Thierry has organized the “Mexican Wine Tour by Cafe des Artistes & Vinoteca”. This is an opportunity for wine lovers and fans to discover firsthand a great variety of excellent quality wines that are produced in the wine regions of the country from Parras, Coahuila to Ensenada, Baja California.

“We are happy to invite all our customers and friends to come to the restaurant to discover the latest labels from the best vineyards in Mexico. During September we will have a special wine menu, free wine tastings and Mexican wines by the glass, so we can make a toast together to celebrate this wonderful country we call Mexico,” explains Thierry.

For a limited time only during September, a select list of Mexican wines with special prices will be offered in addition to the restaurant’s wine menu for diners to choose from, so you can pair your majestic dishes as you dine with magnificent examples of Mexico’s oenological accomplishments.

“Every Wednesday evening at 19:00 throughout September, we will be offering a complimentary Mexican Wine Tasting at Café des Artistes’ bar, guided by either Vinoteca’s sommeliers or by the guest winery’s representative. In addition, guests wishing to further explore Mexico’s extensive range of wines may request the “Tasting or Flight” which serves four wine labels from the Mexican Champions Wine List at a special price of just 180 pesos to cover costs.
