Monday, September 5, is the first anniversary of Philo's passing.
Friends will get together at Marina La Cruz near where his ashes rest, and where the guitar sculpture made by his dear friend Dudley Douglas is placed as a beautiful tribute to Philo's memory.
If you can join us, we plan to be there around 7:00 pm.....If you can't make it, don't worry, it will be there always for us to visit.
I am deeply thankful to Rafael Alcantara, the La Cruz Marina harbormaster, who made it happen along with Catalina "Catrina" Luna and Dona Mallorca who were also involved, as was Efren who did the installation job, and a special and warm thank you to Dudley from the bottom of my heart for making the guitar.
Please join Maria Joaquina, her family and friends, to dedicate Dudley Douglas' guitar statue as a tribute to Philo's memory.
