A unique opportunity for a shot at big fish on a short run to the Tres Marias Islands off Puerto Vallarta are being offered in October on two trips by San Diego-based long range operation Red Rooster III.

The Red Rooster III has two great October trips of four days to cow country out of Puerto Vallarta. Fly out of TJ, nonstop, and within 24 hours you are fishing for 100 to 200-plus pound yellowfin on a long range sportfisher, and your tuna comes back to San Diego after the second trip.

The two fly down/fly back 4-day trips cost $2,800 and are limited to 18 passengers each. The trip will include tackle, Mexican clearances and taxes, Mexican fishing permits and bait.

This is the chance to fish aboard a boat out of Vallarta that has the ultimate long range-style accommodations the Red Rooster III is known for. That is, luxurious salon, great food, staterooms, huge deck, experienced crew and Accurate reels to use throughout the trip. Four days in cow tuna country? How can you not pass this one up if you don’t have time for a 12- to 15-day day trip?

Ah, the added bonus, your fish! Normally, what you catch in PV with other operations is severely limited and costly to process and ship, what little there is of it. On these two trips, your catch can be picked up in San Diego on Monday, October 31 after 9:00 am for you to process or send off to Fisherman’s Processing.

Returning; Sunday, October 23 @ 8:00 am

2nd Trip Sailing; Sunday, October 23 @ 6:00 pm
Returning; Thursday, October 27 @ 8:00 am
