Summer starts and with it the school holidays... what better way for the kids to spend a portion of their summer vacation than in a creative way?

That is why the Vallarta Institute of Culture has prepared the "Summer Courses on the Island" where children will have the opportunity to create and learn from an ecological and respectful vision of the environment, as well as learn a little history about the island and its surroundings.

The program integrates artistic activities such as singing, theater, sculpture, creating puppets, creative writing, storytelling, among others.

The ultimate goal of the course is a theatrical show in which the children will perform and present to the audience what was learned during the three weeks of the workshop; from making puppets, creating stories and poetry, vocalization, creating characters, etc. The program is designed so that each class has a thematic relationship with each other to achieve the final product.

Also, in connection with different directions: Ecology Workshop, by the Municipal Department of Ecology; Prevention of crime, by the Department of Public Safety; and First Aid by the Directorate for Fire and Civil Protection. All these workshops are specially designed for children.

"Summer Courses on the Island" is open to children from 7 to 12 years old and will take place from July 18 until August 5, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, at the Cuale Cultural Center (Centro Cultural Cuale) on Isla Rio Cuale. Course fee is 250 pesos.

Bring your little ones to live a creative experience full of learning and spend this holiday with the most fun.
