The 2nd annual Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit Fashion Show took place on Friday, June 10, 2016, offering fashion lovers an evening of glamour, sophistication and art.

This year three of Mexico’s top designers showcased their exclusive bathing suit, beachwear and jewelry collections much to the delight of the attendees.

Benito Santos presented his “Crucero 2017” women’s wear collection, while Daniel Espinosa showed off his “Jewels & Art” pieces and Melín Castro sent his “Azul del Mar 2017” line down the runway.

Among the celebrities present at the show was Mexican TV host and model Marisol González and Mexican actress Michelle Renaud.

Benito Santos, whose signature line of clothing has been in production a mere six years, is originally from Jalisco and a favorite of women who love ultra feminine and glamorous eveningwear.

Daniel Espinosa is well known internationally and is considered one of the most avant-garde jewelry designers in Latin America.

Melín Castro has ventured into furniture, textile, ceramic and landscape design, including the design of Velas Resorts interiors.

Both national and international journalists covered the event, and they have already begun to publish about this important evening of fashion, which will no doubt benefit the designers as well as the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit and the Destination.
