On August 7 to 13, Mexico's Pacific Treasure will contend to earn Travelocity's Best Luxury Beach Destination contest.
In Riviera Nayarit luxury is our nature, and this nature will allow us to win by knockout at the Battle of the Destinations III, a competition organized by travel website Travelocity in order to select the Best Luxury Beach Destination in Mexico.
Riviera Nayarit will try to obtain the largest number of votes possible when the Battle of the Destinations opens for voting in this category. Other contenders are Los Cabos and Riviera Maya.
The winning destination will be visited by Travelocity's Gnome, and if Riviera Nayarit is selected, the Gnome will tour our main attractions and promote them among its website users and in specialized travel media, which would result in a major exposure for our destination.
Additionally, if Riviera Nayarit becomes the highest ranked among all participating destinations, it will be invited to the World Championship, hosted by the competition's ambassador, Mike Tyson.
The Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) of Riviera Nayarit invites you to vote for this destination and to contribute through social media to support this strategy to help attract more tourists.
