Diving in Los Arcos National Marine Park

Some time ago, one of my aunts told me that she was going to come to Puerto Vallarta on vacation with my uncle. Since it was going to be their first vacation as a couple in a long time, she asked me to recommend some activities to seize her stay in our tourist destination. So I made a list of things that I was sure they would enjoy.

Since my aunt loves to walk, the first activity that came to my mind was a serene walk through the Malecon in the morning, accompanied with a good breakfast at Freddy's Tucan in the Romantic Zone (South Side of Puerto Vallarta) and a touch of shopping at the Isla del Rio Cuale.

Or even better, enjoy the same part of the city later in the day, when the Papantla Flyers impress every walking person, enjoy the sunset and one delicious mango hamburger at the Ironico a la Plancha restaurant.

I also thought that they would be interested in taking an adventurous tour, so I added to the list a snorkeling tour (approximately 4 hours long) at the Los Arcos National Marine Park, so that they would get tanned and feel a Finding Nemo ambiance by swimming with colored fish.

And just in case, I also included a canopy tour so that they experience some couple adrenaline and they could enjoy the tropical environment they watched in the Predator movie.

Because my uncle is a biologist, I told him they could have a guided visit to the El Salado Estuary on a Thursday, so that he could be in contact with his passion. And of course, I could not forget the relaxing side of their visit, so I recommended them to get pampered at a spa, either at their hotel or at one of the many spas at Olas Altas.

My aunt and uncle will arrive in a few days, and I am truly convinced that they will have the romantic vacation they deserve, and that they will enjoy many activities, including the ones I recommended.
