Vallarta and Nayarit Present At Mexi-Go Expo In Vancouver Luis Dominguez - PV Pulse

The Visitors and Convention Bureaus of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit have confirmed their participation at the Mexi-Go! Travel and Trade Expo. The Trade show will take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Both destinations will be the guests of honour of the MexicoFest that will take place in Vancouver on September 1 - 16.

Partnering with ProMexico, Mexico Tourism Board and the Mexican Consulate, Mexi-GO! will hold a two-day tradeshow in downtown Vancouver, BC, on September 7 & 8.It will showcase travel and business opportunities in Mexico to a 10,000 strong Canadian audience.

Held during the Fourth Annual MexicoFest event, the Mexi-Go! Travel & Trade Expo is a unique event that brings travel, art and craft, food, music, business and real estate opportunities to Canadians at home before they make their travel plans.

Tourism representatives will have the opportunity to interact with thousands of people attending this Mexico-only Expo. Joel Hansen, Director of Business Development at Mexi-Go! says "We are thrilled to confirm Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit as exhibitors. We constantly promote both destinations through our magazine. Early this year we attended the Tianguis Turistico in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit media, and had the opportunity to witness the success of these two destinations working together."

Both destinations have expressed their excitement to be part of this promotional event in Canada. On the other hand, Guillermo Ohem, Puerto Vallarta's VCB Managing Director says, "Puerto Vallarta's VCB supports the Mexi-Go! Travel and Trade Expo in Vancouver. We are confident that this event will be crucial to encourage the promotion of our destination in Western Canada. Puerto Vallarta will have a booth, where it will show its attractions to thousands of people who will attend the event. We invite the tourism private sector to participate as well in order to increase awareness of our city to Vancouver. Canada is an extremely important market for Puerto Vallarta and that is the reason we support these kinds of initiatives coordinated in collaboration with the Mexico Tourism Board."

Joel Hansen explained that "the idea is to work together to promote Mexico in Canada. We are counting on the destinations and hotels in Mexico, travel agents, tour operators, and airlines in Canada to act. We will all be promoting and talking positively about Mexico."
