This is the first of the isolated beaches located in the southern part of the Banderas Bay, to get there, we suggest you moving 17 km. south of the city and reach the cute fishing village of Boca de Tomatlan, once there, you can choose between a short boat ride which in less than 10 minutes will take you to Playa Colomitos or make your way through the exotic vegetation and follow the walking path that leads to this wonderful corner of the bay.

The walk is definitely worth it, especially if you like to keep fit and you feel energized, depending on your pace, you will arrive after half an hour or a little more; make sure you wear comfortable shoes because you expect a few ups and downs that may challenge your physical condition.

Whether you arrive by boat or walking, the emerald green of the sea in Playa Colomitos will make you feel proud of your effort, the sand is so soft and golden that you might never want to go back home; there is also a small waterfall from the streams of the Sierra.
