KemperSports has come up with a unique way to help golfers ease the (welcome) sting of the bar bill that often accompanies a hole-in-one. Give them a free vacation to a Mexican resort.
One of the biggest golf course management companies in the world, KemperSports is rewarding every ace made at its approximately 120 participating properties with a free eight-day, seven-night stay for two to either Vidanta Resorts’ Grand Mayan Nuevo Vallarta or Grand Mayan Puerto Peñasco. There have been eight holes-in-one made in the first two weeks of a promotion that runs through the end of the year, a pace that suggests more than 150 trips will be given away in 2016.
It’s a novel and engaging promotion in an industry where course operators and management companies are aggressively competing for not only golfers, but consumer loyalty.
