Puerto Vallarta has earned a place among the hottest Spring Break destinations in Mexico. It has world-class resorts, gorgeous beaches, adventure activities and exciting nightlife. Explore the flavors of Mexico at a wide variety of affordable restaurants and bars. If you’re craving American-style food during Spring Break, no worries! You’ll find McDonald’s, Burger King, Carl’s Jr., KFC, Church’s Chicken, Subway, Domino’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, Bubba Gumps, Chili’s, Outback Steak House, Baskin Robbins, and Starbucks. For a scrumptious breakfast in downtown Puerto Vallarta head over to these popular favorites: Fredy’s Toucan, The Pancake House or Coco’s Kitchen.

Along Los Muertos Beach you can say hello to $1 dollar Coronas and Margaritas. Enjoy these refreshing beverages with your toes in the sand. Other students stay in downtown Puerto Vallarta at one of many budget hotels. If you’re a Spring Break traveler that prefers to be in the heart of the action in the Romantic Zone, this is the location for you. You’ll be near the party scene at the beach and walking distance to super affordable restaurants and bars. You’ll also be close to the strip of nightclubs along the mile-long beachfront Malecon.
