Fun Facts and Useless Information at Vallarta Pub Trivia Tournament Team Angels/Jamie Henderson - PVAngels

It's that time again. This will be our 3rd Vallarta Pub Trivia Tournament on Wednesday, March 2. The venue is Nacho Daddy, doors open at 6:30 and the tournament starts at 7:00 pm.

The teams will consist of 4-5 individuals with ten rounds of ten questions per round. Each team answers on their own and no one gets put on the spot.

We insist that you keep any winnings - no handing it back to the charity.

This will be a great night of fun facts and useless information. Difficulty ranges from ridiculously easy to challenging. Last year teams had their own shirts and outfits made up.

Here are some examples of the trivia questions:

• Easy - Name the whale species visiting us every year
• Literary - Who wrote The Sun Also Rises?
• Nostalgia - Name the sixties TV show starring Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow
• Useless - Name comic book Archie's high school
• Sports - Name the home field of the Boston Red Sox
• Musical - What singer's real name was Jerry Dorsey?
• Challenging - Who is credited with the theory that the earth revolves around the sun?

How do I register a team? Gather a team together from your pub/bar/restaurant (4-5 only please, any more make 2 teams), give yourself a great name and email Jamie with the name at stageflight@rogers.com, message him at Jim Henderson on Facebook or just stop him on the street. Space is limited so register right away. If you don't own a pub/bar/restaurant, get your favorite to sponsor your team.

This incredible night of fun and frivolity only costs 100 pesos per team member and this is not a normal fundraiser. No one will ask for any more money, no raffles, no auctions, no begging, no pleading...honest.

Proceeds will go to support Corazon de Nina Shelter for abused and abandoned children.

So there you have it. This will be a great time for all. Start to round up your winning team now.
 
Remember, this team will represent your bar for the bragging rights until the next tournament.
