Come Celebrate the 16th Annual San Pancho Music Festival Chris Parsons - San Pancho Music Fest

Last year’s 15th annual music festival had over 3000 in attendance, one of the largest crowds we have ever had!

Thanks to the efforts of volunteers, along with contributions from sponsors, and individual supporters, the Festival will continue to be free of charge again this year.

As always the Festival is held the last weekend of February; Three days of musical magic in “The Cultural Heart of Riviera Nayarit”… San Pancho!

The dates have been set for Friday February 26 through Sunday February 28. The entertainment and fun begins at 5:00 pm in Plaza del Sol, San Pancho.

The Festival planning for this year is well under way and it already looks to be one of the most exciting line-ups yet. We thank the many musicians who have donated their time and creative energies to help establish the Festival as one of the best of it’s kind in the region. We could not do this without you, and the wildly enthusiastic crowds that are in attendance each year also reflect that appreciation.

As the Festival has grown in stature, we are now being approached by acts that live outside the greater Vallarta region; artists who would like to perform if we are able to provide them with lodging. Even if we had the resources to cover the cost of lodging during the Festival weekend, the Festival’s popularity has caused many of the rental properties in town to be full, so we are looking for folks who might have a spare room or casita to offer. As the Festival has evolved in scope, so have the accompanying costs of the sound and lighting equipment necessary to produce it, along with the cost of promotion, permits, and the expense of providing food for the musicians, and other travel expenses.
