At the peak of winter's chill, join Melissa McKay and Rebecca Ketchum for a bright and healing week of yoga, meditation, healthy & traditional local foods, surf, and plenty of time for doing nothing but looking out at the horizon.
From March 26th until April 2nd we will live in the Xinalani Eco-Resort in Puerto Vallarta on Mexico's gorgeous Pacific coast.
Set on 10 acres of pristine jungle with a white sandy beach for a front yard, this eco-retreat is only accessible by boat. It's the perfect spot to restore, warm up, and slow down; we would be honored to have you join us.
Melissa and Rebecca will lead 2 yoga classes and 2 meditation sessions per day with options to surf, hike, swim, scuba dive and more. All events are optional. There will be plenty of time to quietly sit and observe nature and the beautiful Pacific coastline.

Your hosts:
Melissa McKay - I have over 20 years of practice and 12 years of teaching, and have a deep appreciation for the various traditions including Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyasa and have more recently found a practice home at Kula Yoga. I am yoga and meditation teacher and the former owner/ director of Kusala Yoga in Brooklyn. Part of my personal practice includes mindfulness meditation which I study and practice in Burma and the U.S. I attend silent meditation retreats annually and impart this to my students with an alignment based vinyasa yoga class infused with mindfulness and living kindness. I take great joy in the exploration strengthening and healing of the body as well as the exploration of the heart and mind. You can listen to guided meditations and dharma talks here at my podcast site, Melissa Meditation.
Rebecca Ketchum - I have been teaching movement and body awareness in the form of dance and yoga for over 15 years. Our bodies/minds/spirits are an accumulation of past actions, emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Using the principals of yoga, I aim to help others re-pattern themselves from this past conditioning. Through this mindful practice we can replace our old habits with a healthier and more peaceful way of being. I teach at Kula Yoga Project and Loom Yoga in NYC. I lead yoga teacher trainings in NYC and run workshops and retreats around the world. Visit Ketchum Yoga for more information.
Visit the Xinalani website for further details on the resort's food, excursions, spa, and more.
