Vallarta & Nayarit Join Together for US Road Trip Promotion Luis Domínguez - PV Pulse

Finally, it seems that the smart and attractive slogan "One Paradise, Two Destinations" is catching on, as the tourism offices of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit traveled together to the United States for a joint effort of promotion of the region.
 
The rivalry between these two sides of the same coin is well documented, but after playing co-hosts of the Tianguis Turistico 2012, the idea of working together seems to be getting traction.
 
Last Monday, both offices started a Road Show that would take them to the American cities of San Diego, San Francisco and Phoenix, where they had the opportunity to promote the Banderas Bay area at TV shows, interviews with the local press and dinner galas.
 
The Tourism Promotion Council of Mexico (CPTM), a federal body, is a strong advocate of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit joining forces, and they are supporting this important effort.
 
Monday at San Diego represented an exposure of 2,276,054 media impacts with interviews at the TV show Good Morning San Diego from the KUSI-TV broadcaster and with the written media La Prensa, Mature Life Features, Metro San Diego, Mexico Traveler, Mission Times Courier, San Diego Magazine, Trade Show Executive, The Gipsy Traveler, World Traveler and the freelance journalist Cynthia Dial, who contributes with a diversity of media outlets.
 
Afterwards at the Trade-Dinner Show organized by the CPTM, the Conventions and Visitors Offices (CVBs)of Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta had the opportunity to talk with representatives of Alaska Airlines, Apple Vacations, Classic Vacations, Funjet Vacations, MLT Vacations, Mexico Unlimited, Sunny Beach Vacations and Travel Impressions
 
Furthermore, the directors of both destinations held a meeting with executives of the airline Virgin America in order to review plans for the second half of 2012 and planning for 2013.
 
Besides both CVBs, this Road Show counts with the participation of representatives from the hotels Bel Air Vallarta, Dreams Villa Magna, Grand Palladium, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, Hard Rock Resort (Vallarta Palace), Marival Group, Occidental Grand Nuevo Vallarta, Paradise Village and Villa Group.
