We welcome the hilarious Miss Richfield 1981 back for her second season at The Palm!
Dedicating her life to the friendly citizens and responsible merchants of her hometown of Richfield Minnesota (“where butter’s a spice and gravy’s a beverage”), Miss Richfield 1981 is fast becoming one of America’s best known national treasures. This Midwestern maven is winning over theater audiences around the country with an interactive format that combines homespun warmth with edgy improv, leaving audiences in hysterics in her ALL NEW SHOW!
Miss Richfield 1981 is announcing her candidacy in an all-new show, “Red Lips to the White House!” Proving she will be the best ‘Commander in Chiffon’, Miss R. will lay out her platform with songs, videos, and audience participation. Come join the campaign!
Miss R.’s ALL LIVE performances have received critical acclaim with The New York Post declaring Miss Richfield 1981, “The must-see act in Provincetown.” And The Chicago Sun-Times describes Miss Richfield as “Garrison Keillor meets Mary Tyler Moore.” In addition to selling out theaters and nightclubs each year in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Atlanta, South Florida, and Minneapolis, Miss R. continues to fill the Theaters. Her debut last season at The Palm Cabaret and Bar in Puerto Vallarta was a HUGE success and PV fell in love with her!
Miss Richfield’s national appeal includes riotous appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Today” on NBC, “Cake Boss” on TLC, and, most recently, as a television spokesperson for Orbitz and the City of Philadelphia.
Miss R. has recently purchased a refurbished Apple II computer and entered the digital age. She invites you to like her on Facebook, follow her on Twitter, and watch her on YouTube. And be sure to visit her at missrichfield.com where she keeps a calendar of events and shares words of wisdom, such as her favorite Bible verse: “It’s important to be nice, but it’s nicer to be important.”
We can’t wait to have the fabulous and talented Miss Richfield 1981 on our stage again at The Palm Cabaret with performances of “Red Lips to the White House” opening on Tuesday, February 2 through February 15.
