The return of SORDID LIVES by popular demand. After a 6 week sold out run three years ago Vallarta has spoken "BRING BACK SORDID LIVES." Staring most of the original cast and Director, Danny Mininni Act II is excited to have the show that launched The Act II Entertainment complex on its own Main Stage.

As three generations of a family in a small Texas town gather for a funeral, we learn the hilarious, sad, trashy truth of the "Sordid Lives."

Sometimes it takes a death to bring a family together. The all-star Vallarta casts puts a comedic twist on a story of unconditional love, acceptance and "coming out" in a Texas family. The eccentric cast of characters come together when their intertwining lives prepare for the funeral of the family matriarch.

Reprising their roles - Elizabeth Ensor as Noleta, Ron Spencer as Brother Boy, Joan Houston as Bitsy Mae, Patti Hirsch as Sissy, Polly Cooper as La Vonda, Jamie Coates as O'Dell, Lee Bright as Rev Barnes and Mary Amelotte as LaTrelle. Joining the cast are Hal Bonta as G.W, Steve Jackson as Wardell, Cherry DeLorenzo as Dr. Eve and Barbara Ann Renee as Juanita. Join us on Feb 4th for the HUGE Opening Night Party.

Hosted once again by Juan Pablo Hernandez who turns SPANGLISH into an art form! This year taking the judges chairs are: Act II Musical director and VOV producer, Head judge, Alfonso Lopez. Vallarta Showman Edgar Sanchez and weekly guest judges. The Voice of Vallarta will run every Sunday till the big closing night March 2Oth  Next week is Broadway week.
 
Forever Plaid

The show that broke all Puerto Vallarta box office records returns to the Main Stage... “Forever Plaid is Pitch Perfect!”

I have been a fan of this show for many years. I saw the original cast in NYC at the Laurie Beechman Theatre and then at Steve McGraw's. I've also seen several productions across the US including ones in Boston and Las Vegas, but seldom have I seen a more charismatic and talented group than the four actors assembled at Act II. These guys are just great - sweet, funny, and very entertaining.
