2015 is over and the Riviera Nayarit’s Celebrity Watch detected enough celebrities to know the Destination is high on the list of favorites for the A-list.

“Truth is this is a very important measure for us, because if we’re top of mind for celebrities when they’re planning their vacations it’s a good sign that we’re doing a great job of positioning the Riviera Nayarit as a trendy luxury destination,” commented Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Among the top worldwide celebrities who visited were Jessica Alba, Selena Gómez, Jennifer Lawrence, Charlie Sheen, Kylie and Kendall Jenner and Ciara.

Beautiful actresses and models such as Cassandra Dawn, Devon Windsor, Christine Burkee, Ashley Graves, Cassie Amato, Dolores Barreiro, Kat Graham and Kaitlin Doubleday also made their way to our shores.

Other foreign celebrities who came to enjoy a stay in Mexico’s Pacific Treasure included Mircea Monroe, Chef Penny Davidi, Jesse Tyler, Perrey Reeves, Justin Mikita, Harland Williams, Michael Rosenbaum and Tyga.

As for sports figures, quarterback Russell Wilson, basketball star Nazr Mohammed, soccer player Ángel Reyna and ex-players, now sports casters, Oswaldo Sánchez and Jorge Campos were also spotted.

There were also quite a number of Mexicans on the list as well, including Marisol González, Alex Sirvent, Natasha Dupeyron, Sofía Sisniega, Benny Ibarra, Pedro Ferriz and Poncho de Anda, among others who came to stay in Mexico’s hottest destination.

The microdestinations favored by the celebrities visiting the Riviera Nayarit were La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Punta Mita, Sayulita, Nuevo Vallarta and Flamingos.
