Following is just an overview of all the events and festivities happening this week in Vallarta-Nayarit.
Puerto Vallarta Chamber Orchestra Christmas Concert - Monday
The Puerto Vallarta Chamber Orchestra (OEPV) invites you to their Christmas Concert 2015 with the participation of 4 soloists playing Mozart Concertantes Quartet for Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, French Horn and Orchestra... and the Christmas favorites everybody loves!
The December 14 concert is at 8:00 pm in Nuevo Vallarta at the Salon Paraiso (next door to the San Javier Hospital).
Forever Plaid: Home for the Holidays - Monday, Tuesday and Saturday
Literally thousands of us saw at least one night of this play with four talented singers who became endearing. Their voices are so clear and clean. A couple of them have grown musically right before our eyes. The play has developed and matured into a tight comic cluster of skits and songs.
Dream back to the nostalgic pop hits of the 1950's by boy band, The Plaids. This show broke all Puerto Vallarta 2014-2015 box office records and now returns
You can still catch Forever Plaid: Home for the Holidays on December 14, 15, 19, 21, 22 at 7:00 pm on the Main Stage at Act II Entertainment.
Los Bambinos at Roxy Rock House - Tuesday
Join us every Tuesday, 8:00 pm at Roxy Rock House.
We'll be performing our Flashback / Kings of Rock n' Roll Concerts every Tuesday evening until our last show of the 2015-2016 season on March 29.
Old Town Vallarta's long-time favorites, Los Bambinos are four brothers, trained in classical guitar by their musician father, and have been performing a suite of musical styles for the over 10 years of playing together.
PuRR Project Kitty Bingo - Wednesday
We're back at Margarita Grill with great Bingo prizes (like 200-peso gift certificates for for Bravos, Joe Jack's, Daiquiri Dick's and Starbucks, bottles of tequila and wine, two tickets to the Purr Project Fashion Show, beautiful jewelry, and mucho mucho mas) plus our famous multiple-pull 50/50 raffle, and Margarita Grill's food and drink specials just for us bingo players!
Get there early for a good seat ~ tickets go on sale at 4:30 pm; the fun starts at 5:00.
Festival of Lights by Puerto Vallarta Gay Men's Chorus - Wednesday through Friday
On December 16, 17 and 18, at 7:00 pm, the Puerto Vallarta Gay Men’s Chorus lights up the holidays with its very first concert, “Festival of Lights.”
Wait a minute! Isn’t this the Chorus’s fourth annual holiday concert? Yes, it is. But we recently changed our name! We now proudly call ourselves the Puerto Vallarta GAY Men’s Chorus to more clearly reflect our founding mission.
In this season of love, peace, and wonder, what better time to bring the gift of an incredible holiday concert to our community. Come to Act II Stages Main Stage for one (or more) of the “Festival of Lights” concerts, featuring music in Spanish, English, Latin and French with songs of the season from various countries and faiths.
SYNG! Holly Jolly at the Boutique - Thursday
Come celebrate the sounds of the season with the uplifting voices of Vallarta’s mixed voice choir, SYNG! on Thursday, December 17th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm.
Raising voices in holiday cheer, “Holly Jolly” takes to the stage at the newly remodeled Boutique Theater above Nacho Daddy’s.
Southside Shuffle - Friday
Take a stroll down Basilio Badillo every other Friday evening for art, jewelry, fashion, collectibles, restaurants, food, drinks, live music and fun.
This is one of Vallarta's more festive events and the party runs from 6:00 to 10:00 pm and features live music, cocktails and all kinds of great stuff.
Southside Shuffle dates are December 18; January 8 & 22, February 5 & 19, March 4 & 18; and April 1.
Posada Party at No Way Jose! - Saturday
On Saturday, December 19th, we invite all of our friends and family into our ‘inn’ on this night for a beautiful celebration of friends, food, and fun.
We will have live music, giveaways, and surprises starting at 7:00 pm.
Voice of Vallarta at Act II - Sunday
The Voice of Vallarta competition has started the third season for 2015 - 2016 in looking for the best singer in the Bay of Banderas.
Act II Entertainment has spent the summer and after hundreds of auditions they have narrowed the field to 20 of the best.
The reality show competition season opener was on November 22 and will continue every Sunday at 8:00 pm until the big closing night scheduled for March 20, 2016.
