'Fair of the Diver' Second Annual Bucerias Sculpture Celebration Team Angels - PVAngels

Do you like Bucerias? If you're familar with PV's seahorse sculpture, you're gonna LOVE this! In keeping with the many generations old livelihood of diving for oysters and other seafood and in keeping with the town's name itself (Bucerias translates to "Place of the Divers"), our new central square is home to a magnificent 6 meter (approximately 18 foot) bronze sculpture by sculptor, Octavio Gonzalez and collaborator, Luis Armando Solorio.

This will be the second celebration of the famous sculpture and you are invited to the Feria del Buzo (Fair of the Diver) which will take place in the Main Plaza of Bucerias on Sunday, December 13 from 3:00 pm until Midnight.

This is an event for kids and adults of all ages where there will be lots of things for the kids to do, lots of food, Mexican cooking demonstrations, and music: mariachi, rock and even Brittany Kingery and Cesar Medina... and first time use of rapid biodegradable plates! There will be beer and wine tastings in this full day fun event!

For the Children and Youth between 3:00 and 9:00 we'll have Jumpy Castles, Face Painting, Fish Printing, Soccer Skills, Fitness Testing, Sculpting Competition, Dynamic Play and more!

Cooking Demonstrations will be presented until 10:00 pm including Tortillas, Soups, Tamales, Oyster Shucking, Ceviche, Fresh Fruit Waters, Micheladas and Mexican Mixology.

From 6:00 until 9:00 pm, you will experience the Tastes of Bucerias where our Gastronomia Buceriense has the following restaurants bringing (and some cooking on the spot) delicious tastes of our town: Adauto’s • Armando’s Place • Bucerias Bites • Buzzo’s • Delices de France • Delicias Mexicanas • El Chivero • El Brujo • Esquina 22 • IXTA • La Negra •  La Posta •  Le Provence • Mark´s Bar & Grill • Mr. & Mrs. Fish • Tapas del Mundo.

Also, from 6:00 until 9:00 pm there will be Artisanal Beer and Mexican Wine Tastings.
