The Jalisco Ministry of Health invites all women between 40-69 years for a digital mammography examination on October 7, 8 and 9, 2015 on the premises of Hotel Sheraton Bugambilias in Puerto Vallarta from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. This service is taking place in order to intensify actions to timely detect breast cancer.
This study is free and it is not necessary that women are affiliated with any institution of Health. The only requirement is that you arrive without deodorant, talcum powder or lotion under your arms or on your breasts the day of the exam.
The goal of mammography is to find or detect nodules and tissue changes which may eventually become problems. Thus, it helps to find small lumps or growths that a specialist or woman can feel when doing a physical examination of the breast.
The Sheraton Buganvilias Resort and Convention Center is located at Medina Ascencio 999 in the South Hotel Zone across from the Sports Stadium and just North of Downtown Vallarta.
