This year the destination of Vallarta-Nayarit continues to show record levels in the volume of passengers transported by air, according to figures released by the Pacific Airport Group (Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico - GAP).
The summer growth was recorded at 75,000 national seats and 47,000 international seats compared to the same period last year.
These statistics have consolidated the destination of Vallarta-Nayarit (PVR) as one of the most important tourism spots for residents of central and northern Mexico.
Overall growth for GAP in the number of seats for the month of August 2015 was 11.3% compared to last year.
The load factor increased 1.0% to reach 81.6%; both indicators contributed to this year's August being the best in the history.
