The Amigos and the Community Working Together to Beautify La Cruz Amigos de La Cruz

Thanks to Flamingo’s generous donation of 175 Bougainvillaea plants to the Municipality and the thoughtfulness of Alfredo Jiminez, our highway medians will soon be bursting with color.

With Jesus Carmona of Vallarta Gardens loaning his workers, Gamaliel and Roberto, and Alberto Arreola of Puerto Bahia’s loan of Maximo and Aldo, it was easy to form a team with Delegado Polo, our own Pedro and Cesar and our never tiring coordinator, Lina. The team spent 2 days in the hot, scorching sun and humidity to get the plants in the ground. They cleaned, dug, covered and carried 600 gallons of water to give all 175 plants their first drink.

Without these (and your) donations and volunteerism, this wouldn’t be possible. The Amigos de La Cruz want to give everyone of you a huge THANK YOU!
