The World Beach Volleyball Tour will come to Puerto Vallarta on October 6-11, 2015.
The Puerto Vallarta Open will be the seventh Open event on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour 2015 calendar in a season that extends from late April to mid-December. It will be the first after the FIVB World Tour Finals, with points from the tournament going towards the 2016 ranking.
This major sporting event will bring together 224 athletes divided into 64 teams of men and women from 14 participating countries.
This circuit is supported by the International Volleyball Federation, the Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean and the Mexican Volleyball Federation and counts towards qualifying for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
According to the organizers, the competitions will be televised on national television at least eight hours and there will be a worldwide broadcast in 116 countries and reach a potential of over 650 million households.
There will also be webcast to the world, which will give major coverage to Puerto Vallarta.
