Open Registration for Creative Dance Workshop Visita Puerto Vallarta

The Vallarta Institute of Culture invites you to the Creative Dance Workshop, taught by renowned dancer and choreographer Melissa Castillo, which is being held every Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Cuale Cultural Center.

The workshop is divided into two groups and is open to professionals and beginners. The fundamental requirement is punctuality and willingness to learn to project the art in motion. It provides students with tools for interpretation, training in aerial dance, yoga, experimental dance and exploration of improvisation.

Melissa Castillo is recognized for her work in Puerto Vallarta promoting dance and has teaching experience that has helped train professionals. She has a degree in Performing Arts from the Escuela de Artes Plásticas of the University of Guadalajara.

She studied classical and contemporary dance, experimental theater and choreographic composition.

Melissa has performed at international festivals such as the XXXII International Cervantes Festival, Festival of San Luis Potosi Lila Lopez and the Festival of the City of Granada, Spain, participating with various artists, sculptors, painters, poets, musicians and actors in performances such as Las Catrinas, Caminos, Crisálidas, Limbo Total and Pie en Tierra Firme.
