This course is aimed at people aware of the need to create new models to honor and respect the Earth and life. Everyone is welcome. Taught in Spanish with English translation.
Permaculture is a system of ecological design that proposes a human culture that lives in harmony with the Earth without degrading the ecosystems that depends, working with nature, not against it, Permaculture gives us positive solutions to meet our needs in abundance and regenerate at the same time with natural systems around us.
We will explore techniques and strategies to create sustainable communities through alternative models, as well as food production, water and energy. We will learn how the principles of permaculture design methods apply to urban environments to locate, leverage and integrate the multiple resources that cities offer in a sustainable manner.

Hands on learning sessions
• Germination and seed production
• Transplanting and propagation of plants
• Waste management and processing of compost
The workshop cost is 800 pesos until July 5 and 1,000 pesos after July 5. Reserve your place with 500 pesos. (We have some scholarship-exchange places for people who can not cover the cost)

Instructor will be Levi Rios, Architect. His interests are in: Bioarquitectura, Permaculture, Organic-urban Agriculture. He shares his time giving experiential workshops in Mexico, USA, Argentina and Brazil. FIP360º is directed by Levi and is dedicated to building sustainable livelihoods projects. For more than 25 years it has been one of the most important intentional community life projects in Mexico.
