The Festival De Viento 2015 will kick off with demonstrations in the central Plaza of Bucerias today, with competition running Friday through Sunday and a Saturday stop in La Cruz. This wind surfing/Kite surfing event is one of the largest in Mexico and will feature well over 100 competitors in Downwind, Freestyle, Course Racing & Big Air.
The event will be centered on the Bucerias beach behind Karen's Place/Costa Dorada Condos and is free to spectators. There will be restaurant and bar services, live DJ and event announcements. public restrooms, Nayarit State security and an area for non-competitors to participate casually.
This is one of the best "photo-opps" of the year. Do NOT forget to bring your camera!
