Amigos de La Cruz Made it Through Another One! LWilson - Amigos de La Cruz

The Altruism Festival keeps getting bigger and better each year. This year, for the first time the Amigos de La Cruz Environmental Program teamed up with the Medical Program to share the work, the fun and the proceeds. And what fun we had! We ate, drank, met up with old friends and made new ones as we spread the word about the work the Amigos is doing in La Cruz.

Our final check from the event will be awarded later this year, but already the Amigos has earned 17,500 pesos from the advance sale of tickets. The money will be split evenly between our programs and will help us to continue maintaining a clean highway and town and providing medicines for our neighbors in need.
