We are a non-profit Animal Rescue association in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
 
We are looking for people in their twenties that want to do something special and worthwhile.
 
We are rescuing stray, abandoned, abused, or surrendered animals, help heal them, vaccinate them, sterilize them and then re-homing them.

You must love all Animals and the outdoors and not be afraid to get down and dirty as most animals are on a ranch in the mountains. We also have horses, goats, ducks, chickens and cats.

We have a B&B where some animals are kept we need help to care for and at the same time help out with guests at times.

What we offer is free room and board and some pocket money to help with personal things.

Chores will include gardening, help with Eco project, animal care, helping with tourists and others. Hours expected will be a maximum of 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week.

The volunteer work consists mostly of caring for the dogs; walking, feeding, cleaning dog runs, baths, vet visits, socializing them either at the ranch or at the B&B (30 minutes between the two). At the ranch where we have other animals it includes feeding goats, chickens, horses etc. We take the dogs to the beach or downtown to practice and get accustomed to as many things as possible to be ready for adoption so this is another important part. Drivers license is required and we use ATV's in addition to Jeep's.

We speak English, Swedish, Spanish and Norwegian.

Your accommodation will be a room at our B&B or at the ranch which includes internet access.

Puerto Vallarta as a beach town with great weather all year round offers all water activities as snorkeling, boating, whale watching, diving, swimming with dolphins, fishing and many more, as well as canopy tours, Botanical Garden, Zoo and as we are surrendered by the Sierra Madre mountains there's hiking, biking and countless other activities.

The Malecón (Boardwalk) lined with art statues is a great place to stroll day or night time with wonderful restaurants, bars and many clubs.
