Kelly Trainor, American Consulate for Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, in conjunction with CasaMagna Marriott Resort & Spa, are once again the proud organizers of the 11th International Altruism Festival in Puerto Vallarta.
This gastronomic and cultural event creates awareness among the population to support those who need it the most.
This is the most important altruism event of Puerto Vallarta and will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2015, beginning at 6:00 pm, in the beautiful beachfront garden of the CasaMagna Marriott Resort in Marina Vallarta.
Some of the best restaurants in the Puerto Vallarta area will be offering food and refreshments. There will be live entertainment, dancing and cultural representations.
All proceeds will be donated to the 20 chosen charity and non-profit organizations who need your help.
Each charity will be given the opportunity to host a display at the festival to highlight the great impact they are having on the Puerto Vallarta community.

The chosen charities and non-profits this year are Amigos de La Cruz • Banderas Bay Cultural Association • Biblioteca Los Mangos • Breakfast for Children • Casa Hogar Orphanage • Dives in Misericordia • Down Syndrome Association • Paraiso Felino • Puerto Vallarta Food Bank • Puerto Vallarta Navy League • Rehabilitation Clinic Santa Barbara • R.I.S.E. • Rotary Club • Salvation Army • SETAC • Torpedos Football of Vallarta • Visually Handicapped Association • Whale Ecological and Conservation.
In addition to the charity information booths, this year's festival will feature a wide range of entertainment ranging from live music and dancing to cultural presentations and an extraordinary culinary demonstration by some of Puerto Vallarta's finest restaurants and food & beverage suppliers.
This year over 40 food, drink and service providers will be serving up samples of favorite taste treats.

This year’s line-up includes Barcelona Tapas, Café des Artistes, Café Gourmet, Daquiri Dicks, Kaiser Maximilian, Ketsi - Four Seasons Punta Mita, La Leche, and River Café with more signing up each day.

The donation, which includes food, drinks and entertainment, is just 350 pesos in advance or 450 pesos at the door.
Tickets are available at any of the beneficiary organizations (they get extra perks if you purchase from them) or from the Concierge at CasaMagna Marriott.
Last year the proceeds from the 10th Altruism Festival was 588,393.50 pesos which provided the beneficiary organizations more than 30,000 much needed pesos each.
