Caritas Puerto Vallarta invites the public to participate in Charity Week 2015 from March 1 - 8.
Activities are centered around Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Downtown Puerto Vallarta by the Town Square which will include concerts and food drives where you are invited to bring food, gently used clothing or donations for concerts.
Caritas will serve food during the week to our homeless, seniors and children who deserve a warm meal and have no place else to go.
On Monday through Friday there will be a service at 8:30 am on the topic of "Shared Reflections."
Festivities include performances by OEPV (Orchestra School of Puerto Vallarta), Mariachi Juvenil Sol, Vallarta Azteca Folkloric Ballet, and more.
Food stands will be set up where you can purchase various Mexican dishes, snacks and desserts.
Along with Father Luis Ramirez, the volunteer group at Our Lady of Guadalupe (Caritas) works for the common good of our less fortunate citizens.
"For us at CARITAS AC PUERTO VALLARTA your support is very important because we are a nonprofit organization that holds only monetary donations or benefactors species, kindhearted people. Your support and donation can change lives, YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE."
For more information, a complete calendar of events will be posted at the PV Tourism Office on the Town Square or telephone (322) 222-2121, email is recursoshumanos@caritaspuertovallarta.com.
We invite you to add your charity or supporting organizations' news stories and coming events to PVAngels so we can share them with the world. Do it now!
From activities like hiking, swimming, bike riding and yoga, to restaurants offering healthy menus, Vallarta-Nayarit is the ideal place to continue - or start - your healthy lifestyle routine.
