Jessica and Rhonda, owners of the Mail Boxes, Etc. Franchise in Old Town Vallarta have just learned that their buyers of the franchise have just backed out of the sale after being in the sales process since October 24.

This was sad news for all of us since we have come to depend on the excellent services provided.

From Jessica as posted on Facebook:

"As most of you know, we put the Business up for sale and had received and accepted an offer. The transaction was set to close on December 12, 2014. It is with a heavy heart that we must report to you that the deal will not go forward as planned, as the buyers were unable to secure the funds necessary for the purchase. As a result, we will be closing our doors on December 31, 2014.

We ask that you kindly make arrangements for receiving your mail elsewhere. We will be available to help you throughout the month in filing an address change with the US Postal Service or any other assistance you may need. We also kindly ask that your account be brought up to date as we sort through the process of closing down our business. At this point, we do not have answers to many of the questions we are anticipating from you, but we will do our best to communicate with you as our Corporate Office guides us through this process.

This is a very regrettable situation and personally, Rhonda and I are devastated by this turn of events. On behalf of Rhonda, me, Diego, Rick and Deb thank you so much for your continued support."

BUT, it's not too late to step in and take over this very successful turnkey business and you can start earning income from day one. The asking price includes furniture, fixtures, inventory and stock.

December 4, 2014 Update: We have great and amazing News for all of you as well as for our MBE team.  The store WILL NOT BE CLOSING!  Our Corporate Office has stepped in to partner with us in keeping the store open.  The Vallarta Community is a valued member of the MBE Franchise Network and for the first time in their history, they will purchase the store and it will continue to stay operational.  The entire current staff will stay on until March 31, 2015 and during this time, Corporate will hire and train staff to take over the daily operations beginning on March 31, 2015.  We are honored and proud to have the opportunity to continue our valuable services to this community!!!
