Puerto Vallarta will welcome players of all Mexican Republic for the first edition of Professional Tennis Tournament "Vallarta Open 2014" which will be held from December 4-7 in this destination.

The Dreams Hotel Puerto Vallarta Resort will host the event which awaits the best players in the country for the men's singles competition giving them the chance to win up 30,000 pesos.

"For us it is very important to hold such events in our destination with a high level of participation, where professional players from around the country and parents and children can participate. We are  hoping that this tournament takes place every year to encourage growth of the sport, "said Jorge Lozano, director of the tournament.

Note that the tennis tournament for Parents and Children will be held in Hotel Canto del Sol, which will consist of four groups of four couples and Round Robin system will be played in open and amateur mode.

During these days, several events will be held and there will also be a tennis clinic, taught by Jorge Lozano, which will be open for children and adults.

The registration fee for both tournaments is 400 pesos and is available in the Hotel Tennis Club Headquarters and the offices of the Association of Jalisco Tennis in Guadalajara.
