2nd Welcome Back with the Riviera Nayarit Golf Tournament at Flamingos CVB of Riviera Nayarit

The Flamingos Golf Club will kick off the high season on November 22nd with the 2nd Welcome to the Riviera Nayarit Golf Tournament, a mixed competition with an A-Go Go format and great prizes to incentivize participants.

Ninety golfers from the United States, Canada and Mexico will participate in the competition, which is offering a $2,500 USD prize for a hole-in-one at the 16th hole and a golf cart to whoever does the same at the 6th hole. There will also be prizes in kind for the “Oh, Yes!” holes.

The tournament is set to start at 9:00 am right after the participants register, which will cost less than $100 USD with preferential rates for club members.

The registration rate includes a light breakfast, snacks, food, complimentary drinks, a tournament cap plus three hours of Mariachi music at the post-tournament party.

“With this tournament we want to welcome all those tourists and temporary residents that come to the Riviera Nayarit to play golf for the winter season and as a result of the efforts set forth by the CVB,” commented Enrique Gómez Javaloyes, Commercial Director of the Flamingos Golf Club.

By the same token, he mentioned the obligation of those involved in the tourism promotion of the region to work together in order for the tourist and/or resident to fulfill and even exceed expectations.  

This tournament serves to reinforce the loyalty of golf lovers to the destination. “We believe that by offering them a great experience in our destination we can generate word-of-mouth recommendations that will bring in even more tourists,” added Enrique Gómez.
