You've heard many times about the 150+ cats and kittens living happily at the Purr Project Ranch. Now's your time to meet them all-up close and personal!
In concert with Superior Tours Vallarta, Purr Project is now offering visits to our ranch in roomy, 10-passenger air-conditioned vans, complete with knowledgeable guide and licensed driver - we'll even provide the bottled water!
For a donation of just 250 pesos ($20 USD), you'll be able to pet, cuddle, hug, nuzzle, pamper, and snuggle to your heart's content. Note that these van tours have been completely funded so every
peso of your donation goes directly to the cats.
On this tour the volunteers of the PuRR Project take you to rural Mexico, where many cats have been rescued from a miserable life on the streets. Needless to say, this shelter needs your help and by participating on this tour, you directly help the cats!
Our ranch tour dates are on Wednesdays as follows:
• November 12 & 26
• December 10
• January 7 & 21
• February 4 & 18
• March 4 & 18
• April 1 & 15
We expect these 4 hour tours to fill up quickly, so if you're visiting Vallarta, pick a date when you'll be in town and sign up in advance. Pick-ups in three locations: 9.00 am - Superior Tours Office in Plaza Romy (meet in the courtyard); 9:20 am - VIPS Walmart/Liverpool (meet in front of VIPS); and 9:45 am - Walmart Nuevo Vallarta (meet in parking lot in front of the “La Cevicheria” restaurant).
Reserving your spot is a breeze. Just go to Superior Tours Vallarta. This sign-up process makes things easier for us, but we'll be happy to take your paid reservation at Bingo or any of our other PuRR Project events - or you can contact our Tour Director, Pam Sullivan, at toursoftexas@hotmail.com.
